Jagriti Yatra is a 15-day long national train journey, where participants travel 8000 kilometres across the nation to understand and build small towns and villages through enterprise. It is set up under a non-profit charitable organisation called Jagriti Sewa Sansthan whose headquarters is located in Mumbai.
Applications are accepted in English/Hindi only. Please note that there are no fees for applying for the Yatra, registration is free and scholarships are available for deserving candidates who get selected for the Yatra.
Jagriti Yatra is an ambitious train journey of discovery and transformation that takes hundreds of India's highly motivated youth, from all over India and world, on a 15 day, 8000 km national odyssey to meet the role models - social and business entrepreneurs - of the country.

Jagriti Yatra board members, Raj Krishnamurthy and Rewati Prabhu joined Shashank Mani in creating and launching the Jagriti Yatra, with an ambitious new agenda of Enterprise-led-development. Gitanjali Bhattacharya and Swapnil Dixit were the first executives of Jagriti Yatra.

History and Origins of Jagriti Yatra
In 1997, Jagriti Yatra's chairman Shashank Mani organised the Azad Bharat Rail Yatra to mark 50 years of India's independence. The journey was transformational.
